Note:
- The UPSC Prelims Cut-Off Marks (*) are based on GS Paper-I only. GS Paper-II is qualifying with the requirement of 33% marks (66.67/200).
- The UPSC Mains Cut-Off (**) is subject to ten percent marks in each of the seven competitive papers. These include the Essay, GS-I, GS-II, GS-III, GS-IV, Optional-I, and Optional-II papers.
- If two or more candidates secure equal total marks in UPSC Civil Services Examination, UPSC resolves the tie by using the following principle:
- (i) Candidates who secure more marks in the Compulsory Papers and the Personality Test combined are to be ranked higher; and
- (ii) If the marks mentioned at (i) above are equal, the candidate senior in age will be ranked higher.
- The abbreviations denote the categories of candidates attempting the Examination. GL, EWS, SC, ST, OBC and PwBD stand for General, Economically Weaker Sections, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, respectively are used for.
- UPSC MainsCompulsory papers include General Studies-I, General Studies-II, General Studies-III, and General Studies-IV and Essay.
