Eligibility Criteria for Recognition

The company becomes eligible only after the completion of three financial years from its incorporation. It must have a regular source of income for at least the last two financial years.
Companies seeking recognition for in-house research and development units must be engaged in manufacturing or production activities. Additionally, the R&D units must be located in non-residential areas.
